Dullatur Marsh Reserve

Dullatur Marsh has a rich varety of habitats and as a result, a wide range of species can be found.  Breeding birds, waders, and wintering birds use the Reserve.  The locally rare common water plantain and nationally rare tufted loostrife occur in the marshy grassland.  Arrow head and the rare hybrid yellow water lily are also noteworthy.

When to Visit: All year round: birds

Species: Water rail, teal, grasshopper warbler, winchat, mute swan, lapwing, curlew, snipe, jack snipe, redshank.

Plants: Common water plantain, tufted loosestrife, arrow head, and yellow water lilly.
